Salkyn Alimbaeva, wife of ex-deputy of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Ravshan Dzheenbekov, was detained in Bishkek. A lawyer Razak Ashimbaev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, she was detained by employees of the State Committee for National Security.
«What crime Salkyn Alimbaeva is suspected of is unknown. She was taken from home, they didn’t even let her call her relatives,» Razak Ashimbaev said.
The son of the detainee, Azat Dzheenbekov, reported on social media that she was forcibly taken away by employees of the State Committee for National Security and denied access to a lawyer.
