Over 6 tons of sulfuric acid confiscated from Sokuluk resident

More than 6 tons of sulfuric acid and electrolyte were found in the house of a resident of Sokuluk village in Chui region. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

Sulfuric acid and electrolytes were stored in the house of the 39-year-old villager without the appropriate permits, including without registration with the tax authorities and with violations of the conditions for their storage.

«One of the main areas of use of sulfuric acid and electrolyte is the manufacture of narcotic drugs, as well as the processing of gold ores,» the statement says.

Investigative measures are being carried out on the fact.
