Sadyr Japarov holds iftar for residents of Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held iftar (a dinner on the occasion of the month of Ramadan) for residents of Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions. Regional administrations reported on their social media pages.

According to local authorities, residents of Dzheti-Oguz, Ak-Suu and Tyup districts were invited to the event in Issyk-Kul region on April 13.

Another dinner was held for the residents of Balykchy, Ton and Issyk-Kul districts on April 14.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev and Presidential Envoy to the region Iliyaz Imanbetov addressed the people on behalf of the head of state.

Two events were also organized in Jalal-Abad region, office of the Presidential Envoy to the region reported. They were held for residents of Aksy, Ala-Buka, Chatkal and Toktogul districts, as well as Tash-Kumyr and Kara-Kul.

A dinner was held for residents of Suzak, Bazar-Korgon, Nooken districts, as well as Jalal-Abad and Mailuu-Suu on April 15.

«The iftar was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev and the Presidential Envoy to the region Absattar Syrgabaev. They congratulated residents of the region on the holy month of Ramadan,» the regional administration reports.

All the dinners were held in restaurants.

The head of state Sadyr Japarov is a native of Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region, and his friend — the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev is from Jalal-Abad region.

Earlier, the president organized an iftar at the mosque named after Imam Sarakhsi in Bishkek, in which he himself took part.

In addition, on his behalf, representatives of El Umutu party held an iftar in the capital for volunteers, activists and bloggers. The event was held at Altyn Kazyna restaurant. Some of the guests were handed letters of thanks on behalf of Sadyr Japarov.
