Suyuntbek Alikeev, an expert at the decision-making department of the Presidential Executive Office and the Cabinet of Ministers, became the new head of the company. Former director Alisher Beishenaliev was appointed deputy head of Kyrgyztransneftegaz by the decision of the State Agency for State Property Management.
Kyrgyztransneftegaz enterprise under the Ministry of Energy was established at the end of July. The resolution was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov. The company was formed for state regulation and management in the oil and gas industry. It has the rights of a national operator for the transportation, storage, processing of natural and liquefied gas and the sale of oil, gas and products of their processing.
Kyrgyztransneftegaz includes Osh and Batken branches, Sokh gas storage facility.
Alisher Beishenaliev was the first director of the company. He headed it since August 2022.
