Eurasian Savings Bank to increase capital to 640 million soms

Shareholders of Eurasian Savings Bank plan to increase its authorized capital to 640.4 million soms. The financial and credit institution informed 24.kg news agency.

They reminded that retained earnings of previous years of 155.4 million soms and net profit for the past year of 54.4 million soms will be used to increase the capital. In addition, the general meeting of shareholders decided to increase the number of circulating registered shares by more than 17 million. At the same time, the cost of each share will be 20 soms.

As a result, the issue volume will be 340,458.12 million soms.

«It is expected that following the results of the issue and placement of ordinary registered shares, the size of the bank’s authorized capital will amount to 640.4 million soms. This will make it possible to comply with the standard set by the National Bank and remove temporary supervision. In addition, in the future, the size of the authorized capital will also be increased in accordance with the requirements of the central bank,» the bank said.

Eurasian Savings Bank OJSC is former KyrgyzCreditBank.

It was renamed in April 2016. The conservation regime has been in effect since January 31, 2011 in connection with the initiation of a criminal case against its shareholders and officials. After that, shareholders were changed, and the Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed that there were no charges against them.

In May 2022, the controlling stake in the bank was transferred from the State Property Management Fund to the Ministry of Digital Development.

In December 2022, it became known that there were changes in the list of holders of securities of Eurasian Savings Bank OJSC. Alfa Telecom CJSC (MEGA trademark) acquired 1.4 million shares. Now the company holds 9.42 percent of the bank’s authorized capital. The cost of shares is 28,269.6 million soms.
