The President congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
«The holy month of Ramadan for Muslims is not only abstinence from water and food, it is a time of reflection and manifestation of high qualities, such as generosity, self-discipline, kindness, mercy, piety and compassion. Entering this auspicious month, we get the opportunity to develop our best sides and virtues,» the message reads.
According to Sadyr Japarov, beginning of the blessed Ramadan brings humility and repentance, purification and renewal into our hearts, urging to avoid wastefulness, to lend a helping hand to our neighbor.
«Let’s not forget that the well-being of the family, society and the state is in unity! I urge everyone to use this month as an opportunity to strengthen traditional values and, for the benefit of Kyrgyzstan, build together a peaceful, hardworking, fair and decent society, show friendliness, respect for each other and the environment,» he said.
The head of state believes that by joint efforts the people of Kyrgyzstan will be able to create conditions for a decent life for citizens and the further development of the country.
