After the end of the autumn-winter period, the National Energy Holding will be liquidated. Energy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Ibraev announced at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on fuel and energy complex, subsoil use and industrial policy.
Deputies discussed implementation of the resolution of the Parliament on giving consent to the issue of new shares of Electric Stations OJSC and National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC.
Deputy Emil Toktoshev asked how the Ministry of Energy and the National Energy Holding worked.
«How do you work? Don’t you interfere with each other? How did you distribute the responsibilities?» he asked.
According to the official, the issue of liquidation of the Energy Holding is considered.
«Presence of two departments incurs additional costs. Therefore, the ministry will work,» Taalaibek Ibraev said.
The National Energy Holding was established by a government decree on January 6, 2016. In 2018, the deputies also proposed to liquidate the National Energy Holding.
