President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov criticized the work of the National Energy Holding. He stated this today at a meeting of the Security Council.
The head of state noted that some state bodies were slowing down the work on digitalization and thereby pulling the reforms back.
«The chairman of the Energy Holding, Azamat Abdykadyrov, you have been working for six months, but you have not reduced your losses. There is no progress. Why don’t you create a Single Window? Why can’t those who need electricity get certificates in one place? Everyone follows you and asks to sign the certificates,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
According to him, the Kyrgyz Republic has risen from the 77th place to the 70th in the Doing Business ranking, but because of the power industry specialists in 2016-2018, the country takes the 160th place in connection to electricity for three years in a row.
