As part of a working trip to Osh region, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited the heating and power plant (HPP) in Osh city. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the situation at the facility, the availability of backup equipment and fuel reserves for the successful completion of the heating season. Nurlan Arapbaev, director of the Osh HPP, noted that the equipment at the enterprise was operating normally, there were no failures in the generation and supply of heat and electricity.
Osh HPP provides heat and electricity to 330 apartment buildings, 199 residential buildings and 88 social facilities.
The head of the Cabinet noted that the peak of anomalous cold weather has been passed, but power specialists should continue working under no timeline. Akylbek Japarov stressed the need for gradual decentralization of the heating system.
He added that when designing new residential buildings, it is necessary to provide for the installation of an autonomous boiler house.
The head of the Cabinet got acquainted with the project of a T-shaped road in Osh, which allows solving the problem of traffic jams on the central streets. Several options for unloading the city were presented to the head of the Cabinet.
«It is necessary to speed up the calculations and to include the project in the capital investments item this year,» Akylbek Japarov said.
