Kyrgyzstani Ernazar Akmataliev took the 1st place at the Freestyle Wrestling Tournament named after Konaev, which takes place in Taraz. The Wrestling Federation of Kazakhstan reported on Instagram.
In the final, Ernazar Akmataliev competed with Tyler Berger (USA) in the weight category up to 70 kilograms.
In the weight category up to 57 kilograms, another Kyrgyzstani Almaz Smanbekov lost to Meirambek Kartbai (Kazakhstan) and won a silver medal.
Taiyrbek Zhumashbek from Kyrgyzstan will also compete for the first place with a Kazakh athlete.
