The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev, during his official visit to Qatar, met with the CEO of Nebras Power Khalid Mohammed Jolo. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
Nebras Power is ready to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in the power industry. In particular, the Qatari company was interested in the construction projects of Chatkal and Kazarman hydroelectric power stations. The parties agreed to start expert work, as a result of which representatives of the Qatari company will arrive in Kyrgyzstan to discuss the construction of hydropower stations.
Nebras Power is a state-owned company established in 2014. It is a subsidiary of Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC). It invests worldwide in renewable energy, fuel and logistics projects, desalination and water treatment, and centralized water/heating supply projects.
