Deputies considered the candidacy of Nurlanbek Shakiev for the post of Speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
The deputy was the no-alternative candidate. His candidacy was proposed by three factions and Eldik deputy group.
According to the results of secret voting, 80 deputies voted for Nurlanbek Shakiev, and 6 deputies voted against. Thus, he became the Speaker of the Parliament.
