Rain is expected on most of the territory of Kyrgyzstan on October 1-2, snow — in the mountainous areas and rain turning into snow — in the foothill areas. The Hydrometeorological Service reports.
Heavy rain is expected in some areas, as well as a decrease in air temperature.
The air temperature will drop in Chui valley in the daytime to +11...+16 degrees Celsius, in Talas valley in the daytime — to +11...+16 degrees, in the valley zone of Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions in the daytime — to +16...+21, in the agriculture zone of Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions in the daytime — to +9...+14 degrees, in mountainous areas in the daytime — to +1...+6 degrees. West wind will reach 4-9 meters per second, in some areas with an increase of up to 15-20 meters per second.
Frosts of up to −1...-3 degrees are expected on October 2 at night in the farming zone of Chui, Talas, Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions. Frosts are dangerous for unharvested vegetable crops, potatoes, and sugar beets.
Unstable weather will complicate the work of vehicles, communications, energy and utilities enterprises, grazing and keeping livestock on pastures.
