Kyrgyzstan and Maldives sign agreement on mutual visa-free regime

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Maldives Abdulla Shahid met in New York (USA). Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The heads of foreign affairs agencies held talks on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. The parties signed an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Maldives on mutual exemption from visa requirements.

According to the document, citizens — holders of international passports, as well as diplomatic and service / official passports of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Maldives will be exempt from visa requirements for entry, exit, transit and temporary stay in the territory of the states of the parties for up to 30 days.
