At least 50 low-income families will receive 100,000 soms each as part of Social Contract project. The City Hall reported.
The commission selected 50 families from among the poor and low-income, who receive the allowance for minor children Uy-bulogo komok.
After agreement with the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, within a week, these families will be given a one-time social assistance of 100,000 soms to fulfill their labor potential and overcome a difficult life situation.
The submitted applications include 19 projects for farming, 6 — for opening sewing workshops, 21 — for trade, two — for public catering and two — for private transportation of passengers.
The project is designed for three years, during which the families who received loans must open their own business and leave the category of families in need of benefits.
