Five people killed in road accident on Bishkek – Torugart road

Five people, including a child, were killed in a traffic accident on the bypass road last weekend. The Main Traffic Safety Department reported.

According to the department, the traffic accident occurred at 14.7 kilometer of Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart road. A BMW 325 drove into the oncoming lane and collided with Mazda Demio and then with a Mercedes-Benz.

As a result, the 36-year-old BMW driver, three of his passengers and a five-year-old child were killed. The 28-year-old Mazda Demio driver also died.

A three-year-old child, a 16-year-old teenager and another passenger were injured, they were taken to the Issyk-Ata district hospital.
