A special plane with the bodies of 14 citizens of Kyrgyzstan who died in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia landed at the Osh airport. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev and other officials are present there to resolve relevant organizational and other issues.
Relatives of the victims will receive material assistance from the President of the country.
At least 16 people were killed in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia, 14 of them are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Three Kyrgyzstanis survived. Their condition is assessed as serious.
The minibus with Kyrgyzstanis was literally squeezed between two heavy trucks. The truck driver, who caused the fatal accident, also died.
By the decision of the President, August 23 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyrgyzstan.
