Akylbek Japarov instructs to modernize Kara-Balta distillery

Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, got acquainted with the production capacities of the Kara-Balta Distillery State Enterprise. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

He examined the enterprise, heard information about the state of the equipment and plans to increase production and instructed to purchase and equip the laboratory of the enterprise with modern equipment meeting international standards.

«The laboratory must be impeccable so that no one can find fault with its conclusions on the quality of the premium-class products,» the official said.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also instructed to modernize the state-owned enterprise in accordance with advanced technologies, thus creating a modern plant with a full production cycle. It was instructed to lay asphalt throughout the territory, organize repair and restoration work at alcohol storage facilities, and introduce a computerized control system.

State bodies and the management of the enterprise should consider the possibility of raising the wages of the plant’s employees. At the same time, multiple coefficients of remuneration for unique specialists will be established. In addition, he instructed to urgently negotiate with partners over the installation of a new line for the production of domestic vodka.

The issues of exporting the plant’s products abroad in the future were discussed. Akylbek Japarov paid special attention to measures to curb the production and sale of counterfeit alcoholic products.
