The Islamic Solidarity Games in Turkey are coming to an end. The national team of Kyrgyzstan is in the top 10 strong teams.
Kyrgyz athletes won 26 medals — 8 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze. The national team of the Kyrgyz Republic also has 5 small bronze medals in weightlifting and one gold in traditional archery, which was not taken into account in the medal standings.
As a result, Kyrgyzstan takes the ninth place in the medal standings.
The Islamic Solidarity Games are held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were postponed to August 2022.
