Winners of Islamic Solidarity Games met at Manas airport

Winners of the Islamic Solidarity Games in freestyle wrestling were solemnly welcomed at Manas International Airport. Press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The winners of gold medals Aisuluu Tynybekova, Aiperi Medet kyzy, Meerim Zhumanazarova, their head coach Nurbek Izabekov were congratulated on the victory by the leadership of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.

The Islamic Solidarity Games are held this year in Turkey. About 4,000 athletes from 54 countries of the world participate in them.

Kyrgyz athletes competed in 16 sports. To date, the national team has 17 medals — 6 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze. The Games will last until August 18.
