Kyrgyz businessmen sign contract with Japan for supply of 400 tons of honey

A contract was signed in Tokyo for the export of 400 tons of honey from Kyrgyzstan to Japan. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

«Following the results of the joint work of entrepreneurs of the two countries with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan, a contract was signed on August 10 for the export of 400 tons of honey. The contract was signed between Japan Style and Yamada Bee Company Group with the participation of Sojitz,» the statement says.

According to the agreements, honey will be delivered in several stages. The first container with 20 tons will be exported soon.

At least 43.4 tons of honey were exported to Japan in 2021, in 2020 — 15.7 tons, in 2019 — 13.4 tons, in 2018 — 8.3 tons.
