Kyrgyzstan takes 75th place in world in terms of broadband Internet speed

As a result of June 2022, Kyrgyzstan took the 75th place among 181 countries in terms of fixed broadband Internet speed. Data of SpeedTest Global Index say.

Compared to the previous ranking, the republic has risen three lines up, gaining 46.65 points.

The leaders in this indicator are Chile, Singapore and China. As for the closest neighbors, Russia takes the 49th place, Belarus — the 76th, Uzbekistan — 82nd, Armenia — 93rd, Kazakhstan — 95th and Tajikistan — 122nd.

In terms of mobile Internet speed, the republic takes the 91st place with 20.96 points. This is one line higher than in the previous ranking. The leaders here are Norway, the United Arab Emirates and Bulgaria. As for the neighbors and partners in the EAEU, Armenia takes the 78th place, Kazakhstan — 82nd, Russia — 85th, Uzbekistan — 117th, Belarus — 131st and Tajikistan — 132nd.
