A new group of consumers «Population using electricity without limit in consumption and power» («Unlimited» tariff) was introduced by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Energy reminded.
This tariff can be used by household consumers who want to use electricity for heating. They will need to obtain the relevant technical specifications and conclude an individual contract with the power supply organization on a voluntary basis. In this case, the tariff will be 5.04 soms from the first consumed kilowatt-hour.
There will be no restrictions on electricity consumption. But it is not allowed to engage in cryptocurrency mining even with this tariff.
«This tariff for household consumers is applied on a voluntary basis and if the power supply organization has the technical capability. It applies to the entire volume of electricity consumed and the consumption limit of 700 kilowatt-hours will not be applied. This will allow household consumers to use electricity without limiting consumption and power, and power supply organizations to receive additional income from applying the tariff for this category of consumers as for energy-intensive consumers,» the company told.
