At least one billion soms has been allocated from the budget for Mailuu-Suu electric bulb plant. Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev announced today at a press conference.
According to him, the enterprise was transferred to the state ownership. It employs 1,800 people. The plant is town-forming. Therefore, it was decided to allocate funds for its modernization and increase the number of jobs.
«We are ready to consider the issue of attracting investments for joint ventures with state participation. For example, the Car Repair Plant in Kara-Balta became state property. A joint venture for the assembly of tractors was created at its premises. About 60 percent of it belongs to an investor from China,» Daniyar Amangeldiev told.
