Foreigners illegally preach religion in Bishkek

Illegal religious activities of a group of foreign citizens have been suppressed in Bishkek. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Ten students of medical schools — citizens of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh — without registration with the State Commission for Religious Affairs carried out missionary activities in the capital.

«Protocols on the offense were drawn up during the check. The State Committee for National Security calls on foreigners to comply with the requirements of national legislation during their stay in the republic. Administrations of educational institutions are recommended to carry out preventive work to prevent the involvement of foreign students in illegal religious activities,» the state committee said.
