Document on the protection of honey market of Kyrgyzstan is being developed. The head of the National Agency for Investments Ravshan Sabirov said at a press conference.
According to him, partners from Arab countries are interested in the supply of honey from Kyrgyzstan. The first contracts have been signed. For example, Alfardan network is interested in import of honey, dried fruits, nuts and bottled water. A contract was signed between Balary LLC and the Qatari Manuka distribution company for the supply of 12 tons of honey.
«But the partners are asking for measures to protect the quality of honey from our country so that no one can supply products under our brand. In the near future, these procedures will be agreed upon and the supply of honey to the Arab countries will be increased many times,» Ravshan Sabirov said.
He also told that the domestic Shoro company began to supply bottled water to the Arab countries.
