Wholesale and retail prices of meat have increased in Kyrgyzstan. Readers told 24.kg news agency.
According to them, the wholesale price immediately increased by 40-50 soms — up to 530-550 soms. Retail prices in shops and on markets even reach 600-700 soms. Prices are expected to rise further in the near future.
«Sellers say that this is happening because there is not enough product in Kyrgyzstan. The meat is exported to neighboring Uzbekistan, allegedly, the Cabinet of Ministers gave such permission. Why do the authorities not control prices and exports of goods? It is necessary to provide the population with food first, and then allow its export to other countries, » the readers said.
