Kyrgyz Temir Zholu becomes participant of Eurasian Agroexpress project

Memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Directorate of Eurasian Agroexpress project and its new participants on the sidelines of the 1st Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek.

Memorandums of strategic partnership and cooperation were concluded with Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise and KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), as well as memorandums of cooperation with Russian national unions of poultry farmers and milk producers.

«Signing of the documents once again shows the interest of the business of the Eurasian Economic Union countries in the implementation of the Eurasian Agroexpress project, which has already entered the practical stage. Increase in the number of participants will undoubtedly contribute to an increase in the volume of supplies of agricultural products, which will allow railway operators to form regular transportation at a special rate,» Andrey Slepnev, Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said.

The Eurasian Agroexpress project was created to form a regular shipment of goods to the EAEU states within the Union and along two export routes at the first stage (PRC and Uzbekistan). The first transportation of agricultural products to/from Uzbekistan took place this year.
