The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan has submitted for public discussion a draft resolution on the provision of state support to people living in certain border areas of Batken region. They will be granted privileges on payment for the use of electrical energy.
The rate setting policy provides for setting the cost for the population in the amount of 77 tyiyns for consumption of up to 700 kilowatt-hours with subsequent adjustment to inflation.
The draft resolution provides for the provision of electricity consumers living in the border areas of Batken region with benefits in the form of 50 percent discount when paying for the use of electricity in the amount of up to 700 kilowatt-hours.
