Capacity of Uzlovaya high-voltage substation in Osh will be doubled. National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan JSC reports.
Work is underway at the 220 kilovolt Uzlovaya substation to replace an autotransformer with a capacity of 125 megavoltamperes by 250 megavoltamperes.
«These works are carried out in preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period. In addition, such work is necessary to ensure high-quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers. Doubling the capacity of the power facility will improve the system reliability of power supply to consumers in the city of Osh and Osh region,» the company said.
