The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan was authorized to act on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers as a shareholder of several state companies. The corresponding decree of the Cabinet of Ministers was signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister Arzybek Kozhoshev.
The Ministry of Digital Development will be a shareholder of Kyrgyztelecom, Eurasian Savings Bank, Alfa Telecom, and TNC Dastan. Previously, the State Property Management Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce had these functions.
The Ministry of Digital Development now has the right to make proposals on candidates for election to the management bodies of business entities, in which it acts as a shareholder (participant) on behalf of the state.
