Aleksey Shirshov, former chairman of the Board of TNC Dastan JSC, was detained within a case on corruption. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
The state committee is investigating the fact of illegal withdrawal of expensive real estate from the state property on the territory of Avrora Plus recreation center. The facts of conspiracy of business representatives with some state officials and judicial bodies were established, as a result of which 56 expensive apartments and 27 cottages were illegally taken into the ownership of private structures by creating complex corruption schemes involving judges of the Issyk-Kul district and regional courts, inter-district courts of Bishkek, Chui and Issyk-Kul regions, the Supreme Court, as well as officials from the Department of Presidential Affairs, the State Property Management Fund and the State Registration Service.
«It has been established that in addition to the persons detained in the framework of the case, one of the main organizers of the withdrawal of real estate from state ownership was Aleksey Shirshov. To fulfill their intentions, the group secured the patronage of high-ranking officials of state and judicial bodies, giving them bribes in form of money and real estate, including in Aurora Plus recreation center. As a result of the creation of the corruption scheme, especially large damage was caused to the interests of the state in the form of withdrawal of expensive real estate in the recreational zone of Issyk-Kul region from state ownership. Aleksey Shirshov was detained on suspicion of corruption and placed in the temporary detention center of the SCNS. The investigation continues,» the state committee said.
