Holding of rallies in the center of Bishkek is prohibited until September 1. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
According to its information, administration of Pervomaisky district applied to the district court with a request to temporarily limit the places for holding rallies «with the aim to prevent possible mass disorders and also guided by the law on peaceful assemblies».
The Pervomaisky District Court found the decision of the district administration to restrict peaceful assemblies and rallies near the buildings of the Parliament, the Russian Embassy, Ala-Too square, near the Presidential Administration and the State Committee for National Security lawful.
The City Hall noted that the restrictions will be in effect until September 1 (inclusive). «All assemblies and rallies should be held in the park named after Maxim Gorky at the intersection of Ryskulov and Isanov Streets,» it added.
