The length of Balykchy — Kochkor — Kara-Keche railway will be 186 kilometers. The Deputy General Director of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise Abdes Anarbekov told at a briefing.
According to him, more than 500 meters have already been laid. The contractor is Mostootryad.
«We hope to complete all the work by 2030. We will also consider the option of taking loans to complete the construction of the road as soon as possible,» Abdes Anarbekov said.
Earlier it was reported that the President Sadyr Japarov launched the construction of Balykchy — Kochkor railway. He noted that the construction would form the basis of a new railway junction, which would be important for the future of the country.
