The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek urges people taking part in rallies and peaceful assemblies in support of Russia and Ukraine to comply with the law. Press service of the department reported.
It is specified that there were attempts of provocative statements and actions aimed at inciting ethnic and national hatred at the recent rallies and protests.
The police remind that the incitement of ethnic and national hatred is subject to criminal liability in accordance with the law.
«In this regard, we ask you not to violate the law and not to succumb to various possible provocations,» the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital reported.
A rally in support of Ukraine was held last Saturday in the Maksim Gorky minipark. On March 22, a rally-concert in support of Russia’s actions was also held there.
