«At the beginning of the year, there was information in the media that the EAEU chairmanship could give some advantages to the country, but this is not so,» Eldar Alisherov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, said today at a briefing.
According to him, all issues are resolved by consensus in all bodies of the Union. In other integration structures there is a provision that the vote of the chairman prevails in case of an equal number of votes for and against.
«We do not have such a practice in EAEU. Everything is decided by consensus,» he concluded.
