«Ceremony of signing the agreement on providing citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with the opportunity to participate in the UK state program of seasonal agricultural workers was held with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov,» the statement says.
The document was signed between the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor and AGRI-HR company.
«Cooperation is being established with one of the world’s leading economies to legally employ fellow citizens in the UK. This is not only an opportunity to earn money, but also an opportunity to get acquainted with the local culture and work ethics, advanced technologies, work organization and other innovations.
The Cabinet of Ministers will continue to work actively to open up new destinations for migrant workers.
This work has been given a new priority and it takes an important place in the plan of anti-crisis measures,» Edil Baisalov said.
A government program has been launched in the UK since 2019, under which quotas are allocated to attract foreign citizens for agricultural work. According to the program, citizens are obliged to return to their homeland after the expiration of their employment contract.
