Foreign Affairs Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev discussed with the Interior Minister of Turkey Süleyman Soylu the issue of extension of the visa-free regime. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The ministers of the two countries met in Antalya on March 12. The parties discussed issues of protection of the rights of Kyrgyzstanis staying in Turkey.
Ruslan Kazakbaev noted that protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad was one of the main priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The ministers discussed the proposal of the Kyrgyz side on the possibility of crossing the borders of two states with an internal passport of a citizen (ID card) and extension of the visa-free regime. In addition, topical issues of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey were also discussed.
