Google, Facebook and Yandex should register in Kyrgyzstan and pay taxes. Kubanychbek Ysabekov, head of Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, said at the press conference today.
According to him, companies do not need to open a representative office in Kyrgyzstan. It will be enough to register electronically, submit reports and pay taxes remotely.
«They will have to pay VAT, the rate of which is 12 percent. It is difficult to say now how much money will be received in form of taxes. In Uzbekistan, it’s about $18 million. With the introduction of such a mechanism, the amounts will be analyzed in the future. We want these companies, which earn in our territory, providing services to our citizens, to pay taxes,» Kubanychbek Ysabekov said.
