Three Kyrgyzstanis were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in the city of Surgut (Russia). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the ministry, the accident occurred on December 15 at about 6 p.m. at a service station.
As a result, 10 people were injured.
According to preliminary information, there are three citizens of Kyrgyzstan among the victims. Their condition is assessed as moderately severe. All of them were hospitalized in the Surgut burns center.
Gas equipment for cars was installed and serviced at the service station. According to preliminary data, the explosion was a result of loss of pressure. The blast triggered collapse of the building’s roof.
