Gasoline prices in EAEU grow most of all in Kyrgyzstan and Armenia

Consumer prices for gasoline in the EAEU increased by 10.2 percent in September 2021 compared to December 2020. The Eurasian Economic Commission provides such data.

The largest price increase was registered in Kyrgyzstan (1.6 times) and Armenia (36.2 percent). Average consumer prices exceeded average producer prices for motor gasoline in Kyrgyzstan and Russia 1.8 times, in Belarus and Kazakhstan — 1.6 times.

Diesel fuel rose in price by 7.5 percent. The largest growth was also registered in Kyrgyzstan (by 48.4 percent) and Armenia (by 42.6 percent). In Belarus, prices increased by 16.1 percent. In Kazakhstan, which is an exporter of fuel, diesel fuel has risen in price by 10.4 percent since the beginning of the year. The lowest price growth was registered in Russia — 4.1 percent.
