Rally against the law on management of news is held in Bishkek near the building of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy of the Parliament Dastan Bekeshev came out to the protesters. He thanked them for their civic position.
According to the deputy, the bill is dangerous because after its adoption any word of a citizen can be recognized as a lie.
«Tomorrow they can determine what is true and what is lie. It is very dangerous. I am grateful to those who came here, and to those who watch the protest online. This bill will be considered in our Parliament today and, I hope, some colleagues will change their minds. You will see this by the results of the voting,» Dastan Bekeshev said.
The deputy noted that there is a quorum in the Parliament today. Deputies intend to pass 50 bills.
Earlier, lawyers of Adilet Legal Clinic and media experts noted that the bill is discriminatory and, if adopted, will not protect, but violate the constitutional rights of citizens.
Deputy Gulshat Asylbaeva was urged to withdraw the scandalous initiative. She replied that it was «the most wonderful bill.»
