First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov got acquainted with construction of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road. Information Policy Department of the Government’s Executive Office reports.
Kubatbek Boronov inspected construction of bridges across Sokuluk and Ak-Suu rivers, land plots in Poltavka and Novo-Nikolaevka villages of Jaiyl district, including the construction of pedestrian underpasses. According to the project, six new pedestrian underpasses will be built and four existing ones will be repaired.
At present, laying of the lower layer of asphalt concrete pavement is completed on 3.7 kilometers on the south side and 1.8 kilometers — on the north side of the road. At least 205 new power transmission poles, 99 communication towers were installed and construction of culverts was completed in 82 locations. Construction continues on four bridges (Zhantai, Sokuluk and Ak-Suu rivers, mud channel of Ak-Suu river). Work on Jelamysh bridge is almost complete.
In 2019, it is planned to complete excavation and laying of asphalt concrete pavement with a total length of 20.32 kilometers.
At a meeting with representatives of the contractor, Kubatbek Boronov noted particular importance of high-quality construction work. He instructed to set up a working commission for explanatory work among the population, promptly solving emerging issues and control of the quality of construction.
According to Kubatbek Boronov, misunderstanding of the local population in some cases leads to schedule delays. In this regard, the First Deputy Prime Minister instructed to strengthen the activities with the owners of houses located along the road, and to ensure completion of its construction in a previously set period.
