Kyrgyzstani Tologon tegin Semetey took the 2nd place at the international IITU Masters Chess Tournament. Chess-results.com reports.
The tournament was held on February 20-28 in Almaty. At least 10 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine participated in it.
Tologon tegin Semetey scored six points in 9 rounds: got five victories, ended two games in a draw and lost two. He lost only in additional indicators.
The second representative of the Kyrgyz Republic at the tournament was Mikhail Markov. He scored four points and took the 7th place.
