Tez Jet CEO, Alik Askarov, was awarded a medal for the development of aviation. The decision was made by the Presidium of the International Aviation Committee (IAC).
Alik Askarov was awarded «for great personal contribution to the safe, economical, integrated development of civil aviation, training of aviation specialists.»
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport and Roads said that Tez Jet might be closed by the end of the year. Supervision over the airline was stepped up because of frequent incidents.
