President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov appointed a new Finance Minister, Baktygul Jeenbaeva.
The decree was signed today. The candidacy of Baktygul Jeenbaeva was approved by the Parliament the day before. At least 101 deputies voted for her.
Adylbek Kasymaliev submitted a letter of resignation, and on December 6 the head of state signed a decree on his release from the post of the head of the Ministry of Finance.
Baktygul Jeenbaeva previously headed the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aiyl Bank, was the Chairwoman of the Board of the State Mortgage Company. Until recently, she was an Adviser to the President.
