At least 700 kilometers of roads in Kyrgyzstan have been passportized. About 553 kilometers of roads in Chui region and a 147-kilometer section of Bishkek-Osh highway have been entered in a special electronic program. The Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to the ministry, in order to determine all the parameters of the highways and enter their characteristics into the special electronic program, the Ministry of Transport bought a mobile laboratory for $ 260,000.

All the roads of the country will be passportized. A program that will determine where repair, rehabilitation or major repairs are needed was launched.

The program shows not only the roadbed, but also road signs, road cones, bridges, bus stops and so on. It is used for the first time in Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Transport plans to purchase one more mobile laboratory for passportization of roads.
