Ural customs officers seized more than 1.5 tons of cigarettes that were attempted to illegally import into Russia from Kyrgyzstan. Russian media reported.
During an inspection of the cargo of businessmen in the terminal of Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg, it turned out that there were no Russian excise stamps on the packages. Inspection materials and seized cigarettes were handed over to Rospotrebnadzor office for Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Administrative case was opened on the fact; the counterfeit goods were confiscated.
