Solnyshko resort was handed over to the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan for free use. The Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev signed the corresponding decision.
The decision was made to improve the management of state property, create conditions for the training of the athletes and develop physical culture and sports.
The property complex of the state enterprise Solnyshko, located on a land plot of 11,029 hectares with five real estate units in Chok-Tal village of Issyk-Kul district, is transferred to the Olympic Committee for 49 years.
The National Olympic Committee can use the facility only strictly for its intended purpose. A major overhaul will be carried out there within two years and it will be transferred to the year-round operation.
Within five years, sports facilities and a rehabilitation center will be built on the territory. The staff of the resort will be employed on the same conditions.
If the agreement is terminated prematurely on the initiative of one of the parties or by mutual agreement of the parties, the state will not reimburse the NOC, its contractors and other persons the construction costs.
