President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening of a new departmental resort of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security, presidential press service reports.
It is located in Chok-Tal village on the shore of Issyk-Kul lake.
«Last year, the territory of the former Delfin + resort was allocated by order of the head of state, which was neglected, and since December 2022, work has been carried out on capital construction and reconstruction of the facility. Modern comfortable buildings, cottages, a health clinic, a congress hall and children’s playgrounds have been built on its territory. Border guards, together with families from all regions of the country, including remote areas, will have the opportunity to have a good rest and improve their health,» the statement says.
The press service noted that the departmental resort for border guards was opened in Issyk-Kul region for the first time for the years of independence.
«Representatives of this honorable profession should not only have high professionalism, excellent training, willpower, but also a high sense of patriotism and loyalty to their homeland. Our border guards, possessing such noble qualities, are a guarantee of impeccable service to the motherland. The courage and heroism of our brave border guards who proved themselves in previous armed conflicts, detaining smugglers, and destroying terrorist separatist groups will never be forgotten. Your selfless service to the fatherland, ensuring the security of state borders and protecting the world prove that you are the descendants of our ancestor Manas the Magnanimous,» Sadyr Japarov said at the opening.
According to him, the state will continue to create appropriate working conditions for those who, sparing no effort and life, ensure both internal and external security, independence and integrity of Kyrgyzstan.
